My favorite dune shot (more after the gecko and chameleon). The famous Namibia sand dunes are very impressive due to their height and colors. Most of the dark sand is due to iron oxides, which is magnetic. Coupled with intermittent cloud cover, the dunes can be mesmerizing. If we had the opportunity to shoot at sunrise or sunset, they would be even more impressive.
