Images from around Sekondi-Takoradi and Kakum National park

A boatman in a simple wooden canoe and tiny sail approached our cruise ship as we entered the harbor

A floating powerplant in the harbor that supplies electricity

Scenes on the road to Kakum park: It takes 2hr 20min to reach the park from Sekondi-Takoradi. Note that we did not have a chance to see any urban areas of Ghana; e.g. the capital is Accra but Tokaradi-Secondi is closer to the Kakum park. These pics are from my iPhone through the moving bus windows.

Finally at Kakum: the key attraction is the set of suspension bridges over the rainforest.

On the way back to the ship, we stopped at a small work area extracting cocoa
