After Eric at Suspension Peformance installed my SM-vac/boost and IAT sensor (welded bung onto the VF outlet intercooler pipe), i wanted to re-consider my gauge setup since the DM100 can display 4 parameters on a single screen in text mode.

My gauges previously consisted of a ForcedFed-installed AEM AFR and oil temp gauge mounted beneath the vent/AC control area. My initial plan was to replace the AEM oil temp gauge/sensor with a PLX Devices unit, connect it to the DM100 controller and then install the DM100 into where the AEM oil temp sensor is. In the end, i decided to install the DM100 into the side pod air vent where its closer to eye level.

For the installation, i removed the DM100's bezel so it would mount flush with a custom mount made of 1/8" ABS plastic. Removal of the bezel left a gap so i had to build up height of the case to match the height of the display, then super-glued the DM100 to the custom mount. The mount itself fits tightly into the side pod and is held in place in back with a simple 1/8" ABS plastic "L" bracket super-glued to the backside of the side pod. Thus far, the gauge has not come loose afer a couple of drives over rough roads.

As for the PLX controller boxes, the vac/boost module was attached to the firewall above the ECU and the IAT module was mounted on the subframe behind the driver's rear fender liner. The PLX data transmission line was run through the firewall grommet behind the driver's seat and under the side sill. The DM100 controller box was velcro'd beneath the dash.
